Machi Machi Kabob is a chinese restaurant in Chamblee, Georgia. It is listed at 4897 Buford Hwy NE Ste 123, Chamblee, GA 30341, which places it among the local businesses of Chamblee that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Chamblee; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Georgia are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 11:30 amβ10 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. Chamblee is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chamblee follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Taiwanese Sausage π Absolutely incredible! One bite and it literally bursts with juice β that sweet, savory meat flavor just explodes in your mouth. Pair it with garlic slices and it's pure Taiwanese heaven. Lamb Skewers & Beef Skewers π Perfect charcoal flavor, tender meat that's not dry at all, and just the right amount of cumin. One after another, couldn't stop. Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice π Rich, savory sauce with perfectly balanced fatty and lean minced pork. Mix it all in and every grain of rice is coated in that delicious gravy. My friend said it's the closest thing to "home" he's had in America. Oyster Omelet π¦ͺ Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Fresh oysters paired with sweet chili sauce β it instantly brought me back to the night markets. Taiwanese Stinky Tofu π§ Crispy outside, soft inside. Paired with pickled cabbage β that stinky, savory aroma is so addictive. Salt & Pepper Chicken π Big chunks, crispy coating, tender meat inside. Dusted with pepper and chili powder β couldn't stop grabbing more. Sichuan Spicy Wontons π₯ Thin wrapper, packed filling. The chili oil is fragrant with just the right amount of numbing spice. One bite at a time, so satisfying.

Very cozy kebab place located off of Buford Hwy (in the Teso/Pho Bac shopping center). The service was fairly quick. The skewers were cooked well. The seasoning that comes on the side elevates the skewers.

First things first β the service is great. The kabobs are fresh with good flavor, and the grilled vegetables are well prepared. The fried rice is very hibachi-style, with a nice butter-and-soy profile. When it comes to the Taiwanese dishes, Iβm a bit more critical since Iβm a chef myself. The cold sliced tofu is good, the sausage is solid, and the stinky tofu isnβt very pungent but still enjoyable. The wonton soup is slightly peppery, which I liked. The crispy calamari had breading that was a bit thick and dry, with a noticeable starch flavor. Iβd recommend use batter instead, or lightly boiled first then use potato starch and egg. The Taiwanese meatball was still a bit cold in the center β making it smaller would help it reheat more evenly. I do need to give the server some credit for noticed the issue and resolve it. Overall, this is a great small spot for Taiwanese food and skewers, and Iβd definitely come back.

Tried the famous 3ft King Size Kabob at Machi Machi Kabob on Buford Highway and it literally barely fit on the table. The meat was smoky, juicy, and packed with that classic cumin BBQ flavor. The kabob actually comes with fried rice and sides, which makes it perfect for sharing. We also ordered grilled okra, eggplant, Taiwanese sausage, shrimp, and cheese oysters. Everything tasted even better with their signature sauce. Such a fun spot for late night eats with friends in the Atlanta area.

Trying the newly opened Machi Machi Kabob Itβs a small Chinese restaurant. The concept is interesting, they are known for Kabob; grilled skewer meat, style. We found the winner for us was Beef Lo Mein, very flavorful with a hint of charred. We tried salt pepper calamari, Large lamb skewers, beef with scallion, and chicken skewers. The seasoning was light. The meat doesnβt taste like itβs been marinated, because beside outside seasoning, thereβs no other flavors. The service was great. Food came out fast. Lots of parking in the busy plaza. The price is reasonable.
